Yields 1-2 Servings

Ingredients:

  • Milk – 5 cups
  • Vermicelli - 50 grams
  • Coconut - 50 grams
  • Protinex - ½ cup
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Dates – 2 pieces (Chopped)
  • Almonds – 2 pieces (Crushed)
  • Raisins - 10-12 pieces
  • Khus - ½ teaspoon

Recipe:

Boil 5 cups of milk till it becomes thick. Add 50 grams vermicelli and coconut. Then add ½ a cup of sugar and Protinex. Add 2 crushed cardamoms and chopped dates. Add 10-12 raisins and ¼ cup almonds. Add ½ teaspoon khus. Then keep on low heat for 5 minutes.Transfer it to a serving bowl. Garnish your dish with almonds and raisins. You can serve it hot, or even cold.

Ingredients:

  • Milk – 1 litre
  • Saffron – 2 teaspoons
  • Crushed nuts – 2 tablespoons
  • Protinex – 4 tablespoons
  • Cardamom powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Bread – 5 slices

Recipe:

Boil 1 litre milk with sugar and stir constantly. Then reduce the flame. Add 1 teaspoon saffron and 1 tablespoon crushed nuts. Add 4 tablespoon of Protinex in warm cup of milk (Ensure there are no lumps). Mix it well with boiled milk. Stir for 5 minutes and add 1 teaspoon cardamom powder. Take 5 bread slices and cut them in small circles. Add it to the milk mix. Garnish with nuts and 1 teaspoon saffron. Serve chilled.
